Join us for the Sesame Street Fun Run, a virtual race supporting Sesame Workshop’s mission to help children grow smarter, stronger, and kinder. All proceeds will benefit Sesame Workshop's Yellow Feather Fund, which supports Sesame Workshop’s many social impact initiatives that help children and families around the world.
You can run a race distance of your choice anytime between March 27 and April 30, 2021. The Sesame Street Virtual Fun Run is open to all – runners, walkers, wheelchair users, and beyond. To register, click here.

Fundraising Awards:
After registering to fundraise for the Fun Run, log-in to access your fundraising dashboard, where you can personalize your page and rally friends and family to join you. Fundraising awards will be awarded based on an individual Fundraiser's total amount raised excluding registration fees and amount raised by the team.
Race Package Shipment Dates:
Participants registered by March 12 will receive items by the event kick-off date on March 27
Participants registered by April 12 will receive items by April 30
Participants registered after April 12 will receive items in early May

Q. Who benefits from the Sesame Street Virtual Fun Run?
A. All proceeds will benefit the Sesame Workshop Yellow Feather Fund, which supports Sesame Workshop's many social impact initiatives that help children and families around the world through challenges big and small. For more information, please visit sesameworkshop.org.
Q. Is there a minimum I should raise?
A. We do not require participants to raise a minimum amount of money. However, we encourage everyone to set a fundraising goal and do their best to achieve it. Individual members who raise a minimum of $50 will receive a Sesame Street character cape and if you raise $100 or more, you will receive a cape plus a Fun Run water bottle!

Q. How do I register additional fundraisers or participants for the Sesame Street Virtual Fun Run?
A. In order to register additional fundraisers or participants, a user must select "Create a Team or Register Additional Participants" in Step 2 of the registration form and enter their team or family name. If you would like someone to be a Fundraiser, meaning the new participant will have their own fundraising page and log in, an email address will be required. Therefore, the toggle switch next to "Email Address Required" should be moved to YES. However, if the registrant does not want the additional registrant(s) to have fundraiser tools, as in the case of a parent who registers a child, then an email address is not required. Therefore the toggle switch next to "Email Address Required" should be moved to NO.
Q. Can I use the same email address to register another participant?
A. Yes. A registrant is able to register additional participants with the same email address during the registration process and after. This can be done during the initial registration or through the RSVP task in the fundraiser task list.
Q. Are managed users eligible for the race medal, hat, and fundraising awards?
A. All registered participants will receive a Fun Run race medal and hat. Participants who raise $50 or more will receive the race medal, hat and fundraising awards.
Q. How do I import endurance activities from a fitness app?
A. You can connect a fitness app and import activities from your fundraising dashboard under the "Endurance Challenge" tab. Within the tab, you can log your activity by connecting the Strava app.

When is the Fun Run?
A. The Sesame Street Virtual Fun Run will take place anytime between March 27 and April 30, 2021. No matter where you live, you can run a race distance of your choice during those dates.
