Sesame Workshop is guided by our mission to be there for children—whenever and wherever they need us most.  Last year, the American Academy of Pediatrics and other groups took the unprecedented step of declaring a mental health emergency among our nation’s children. During the pandemic, many young children missed out on opportunities to develop essential skills for long-term emotional health.

That’s why we’re redoubling our efforts to address the emotional well-being of all young children and their families, with new resources that celebrate joyful everyday moments and teach children the skills they need to understand and express their feelings.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so we invite you to join us for a ride and raise money to support Sesame Workshop and its programs, including our work in Emotional Well-Being. If you can't make it but would still like to make a contribution, just add a donation below.
